Aiya,
I'm currently on work travel. This past week I was at Kennedy Space Center for the launch. I'm on the structural stress analysis team for the shuttle, so I had a chance to view the launch, and go inside the shuttles. I will be sending you pictures when I get back to California. I'll be on travel for another week!
I'm missing your comments!
Anita

Dear Astronaut
We are delighted to learn that you stepped inside the Schuttle that must have docked with the space station by now. Generally it takes about 10 years for anyone to establish oneself in a particular field but it seems you have done it much qicker.
Punam with her kids will be in Orlando from June 3 to 6 before flying to meet her siblings in California on June 6. She is likely to visit Kennedy Space Center also which will be very exciting for the kids.
Sangeeta will be in Banaras from Dec 22 to Jan 02 in coming winter.
I have found you more impressed by your dad in achieving your goals. Till recently I had a mistaken impression that I worked harder than my wife. Since I have more time at home I watch her work almost all of her waking time. I did not realise that their can be so much work at home till I watched closely. This has led me to believe that her role in raising our children has been much more than mine.
It is the time when results of school exams and tests for entery into various medical and engineering colleges are out. The profiles of toppers in these examinations are published very prominently in newspapers. I have found that moms of most of these toppers are housewives. This raises a very interesting question about the role of working moms in keeping a balance between their professional achievements and the career building of their kids.
Good wishes for the rest of your work travel
Aiya
